Officer Elections (April 2, 2024) Announcement

Calling all Adair Park residents and businesses! At the March 5, 2024 General Meeting, the Board announced elections for three officer positions in Adair Park Today: Vice-President, Treasurer, and Communications Chair. These roles are essential in steering our initiatives, managing our resources, and keeping everyone informed and engaged.

Elections will be held at the April 2nd, 2024 General Meeting.

  • Vice President: The Vice President is responsible for enabling and ensuring the success of Committee chairs and members’ programs. The VP also serves as pro tem President if the President is temporarily unavailable or otherwise unable to serve.
  • Communications Chair: The Communications Chair, who is a member of the Board, manages our communication channels and keeps residents informed about neighborhood news and events.
  • Treasurer: The Treasurer is the primary fiscal officer of the organization. They have responsibility for the financial management and planning of Adair Park Today, maintaining the membership roles, and other duties as needed.

Board members, and a fully staffed Board, are critical to the ability of Adair Park Today to plan and hold events, and to manage and sustain the programs, such as the Housing Fund, of critical importance to our neighbors and broader community. Without a fully staffed Board, Adair Park Today will need to reduce its programming and activities in 2024.

Board member time and resource expectations can vary from month to month. However, including meetings, Board members should expect to allocate 7 to 10 hours per month to Adair Park Today business.
