Parks and Recreation

The City of Atlanta’s Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) operates and manages Adair Park I, Adair Park II, Muscogee Park, and Bonnie Brae Park, in cooperation with Adair Park Today’s Parks and Public Spaces Committee. The Committee organizes park cleanup activities, which are posted on the Adair Park Today’s Events Calendar.

All park, gazebo, and sports facility reservations are managed through the Parcs Atlanta website, which is operated by DPR.

Adair Park I

Adair Park, I is located at 742 Catherine St SW with 6.4 acres of parkland. The park is directly accessible from the Atlanta Beltline via the Allene Ave crossing.

Amenities

The park comprises a large greenspace, a picnic pavilion, playground, basketball court, and seating areas.

Adair Park II

Adair Park II is located at 866 Murphy Ave SW with 10.6 acres of parkland.

Amenities

Park amenities include two greenspaces, a playground, a basketball court, picnic pavilion, and baseball/softball field.

Muscogee Park at Brookline Triangle

Muscogee Park at Brookline Triangle is located at the intersection of Brookline St SW and Elbert St SW, comprising 0.1 acres of space. Read more about Muscogee Park and the Muscogee Nation here.

Bonnie Brae Park

Bonnie Brae Park is located at the intersection of Tift Ave SW and Bonnie Brae Ave SW comprising 0.2 acres of greenspace.

Atlanta Beltline

The Atlanta BeltLine is one of the largest, most wide-ranging urban redevelopment programs in the United States. This network of public parks, multi-use trails, transit, and affordable housing along a historic 22-mile railroad corridor is enhancing mobility, connecting intown neighborhoods, and improving economic opportunity and sustainability. The Beltline’s Westside Trail serves as Adair Park’s southwestern boundary, and provides access to points north via the Westside Trail and south and southeast via the Southside Trail.
