A Lifeline for Our Neighbors
The Adair Park Housing Relief Fund is a community-led crowd fund aimed at preventing displacement in the Adair Park neighborhood.
The Housing Fund was created in 2020 in response to numerous factors, including the millions of unemployment claims filed in the city of Atlanta since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and property tax increases within Adair Park that have commonly exceeded 300% over just the last few years.
The Housing Fund provides the opportunity to assist residents of Adair Park struggling with these destabilizing forces.

When applying, please state your reason for applying based on the following guidelines:

For example, if you bought your home for $70,000 and your tax bill is now $2,800 or greater, you will be eligible. If you received your home as a gift or inheritance, you will be eligible so long as you can demonstrate financial hardship. All applications must include proof of eligibility as an attachment.

The Housing Fund will respond to applications within approximately 14 days of receipt. Awards may take one month or more from the date of application to be distributed.
Awards are limited to $500 per household per application, and no household may receive more than two awards per calendar year. If your amount needed is below $500, your award will be the actual amount needed.
While Adair Park Today hopes to accept every application that meets the objective criteria above, awards are subject to the availability of funds and to Adair Park Today’s sole discretion. Eligible applications will be prioritized based on chronological order of receipt.
AWARDS ARE NOT GUARANTEED AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON IN AN EMERGENCY.
Wherever possible, Adair Park Today will write a check payable directly to the third party requiring payment, e.g. the landlord, lender, utility company, government agency, or contractor. By applying, you agree to release Adair Park Today from all claims and demands of any type relating to the Housing Fund; additional documentation may be required at the time of the award.
About the Adair Park Housing Relief Fund
Since its inception, the Adair Park Housing Relief Fund has helped over two dozen Adair Park households remain stable during financial shocks.
The fund is supported entirely by community contributions. From porch party tip jars to anonymous checks and business sponsors, every dollar makes a difference. We also receive donations from neighbors who received help themselves and want to pay it forward.
Looking ahead, we hope to grow the fund to support more neighbors. We aim to raise $15,000 annually to meet growing needs. We’ve also begun conversations with other neighborhood associations to replicate the model.
But we can’t do it without you.
