Historic Adair Park in Southwest Atlanta
May’s meet-n-greet is an ice cream social! This fun event will be held from 2-5pm at Dave and Sue’s house, 661 Catherine Street, in their beautiful backyard garden. There are at least 8-10 flavors of ice cream being made by neighbors, and we could always use more! If you feel like churning up a batch please feel free – the more the merrier. Utensils will be provided, BYOB. Bring your appetite and a few neighbors and we will see you there!
For the August meet-n-greet, we are going to have another kickball game! Melanie Higgins and Jay Melton are going to host this fun event on August 21st from 4-7pm. Sure, its going to be hot, but you can go home and shower afterwards. Last time we had a blast as people of all ages played kickball, bocce ball, cornhole, ladder toss and other fun games.
We will provide popsicles, some bottles of water and some watermelon. You can bring any other snacks or drinks you want. We will provide the games, you just need to show up ready to play or watch! Bring your neighbors and friends, it is going to be fun!
Bring your children, ages 2-12, to Adair Park I for an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 16th. This event will run from 11am-1pm and will include egg dyeing, some light refreshments and the easter egg hunt. Bring your neighbors and children!
One of our Adair Park neighbors, Quic Rojas of Allene Ave, is putting together what should be an awesome event! This Saturday in Adair Park II (Lillian/Murphy/Tift/Gillette) come join the fun starting at 11am and running until 5pm. The weather is supposed to be gorgeous on Saturday, so what a great day to spend in the park!
This event is called the Holistic Family Fun Day and includes a potluck, games, guest speakers, giveaways and so much more.
