Adair Park Meet-N-Greet Tuesday Night October 19

Come on out and meet some of your Adair Park neighbors! This get together is scheduled from 6pm-7:30pm on Tuesday, October 19th. Last month we had about 30 people at Adair Park II. This is a social affair to meet new neighbors or neighbors you have not met as well as chat about issues surrounding Adair Park. All neighbors are welcome, and please if you know any new neighbors, invite them! BYOB, contact Jay Melton at jaymeltdown@yahoo.com for more details and location information.

Tree planting October 16th in Adair Park I

The improvements in Adair Park I are continuing full steam! The creation of the garden to assist with removing the rainwater is underway. In addition, we have quite a few trees that are to be planted around the park to provide even more shade and continue to make our parks a beautiful cornerstone of our neighborhood. This is a Hands On Atlanta event in conjunction with Atlanta Parks Department.

For this, we need volunteers. From 9am to 1pm on Saturday, October 16th, we need Adair Park residents and friends to help plant trees. Tools will be provided by the Atlanta Tool Bank, the areas will be prepped ahead of time and other volunteers are being sent to assist. Please show your support for your neighborhood parks by attending and helping us beautify our parks. Refreshments will be provided. If you have any questions, please contact Teague Buchanan at teaguebuchanan@gmail.com or by phone at 404-276-2336. Please bring your own gloves and sunscreen.
