New restaurant in SW Atlanta from Chef Paul Luna?

Chef Paul LunaYou may or may not know Chef Paul Luna, but he has been a presence in Atlanta restaurants for years. From his first opening with Luna Si to the popular Eclipse de Luna and Loca Luna, he has been introducing new dishes to a multitude of Atlanta diners for quite some time. In 2010 he opened Lunacy Black Market on Mitchell Street to rave reviews.

883 Dill AveThis time, Chef Luna is eyeing a new location to the intersection of Sylvan Road and Dill Avenue in neighboring Capitol View. You can view the flyer for this venture here. He is hosting two meetings February 22nd from 12pm-2pm and from 6pm-8pm to talk to local residents about what they want out of their neighborhood businesses.

We need to do everything we can to support this venture in Capitol View, as hopefully this interest in Southwest Atlanta will carry over into Adair Park. Not to mention it is just a few blocks from our southern end. Please attend if you can and bring some neighbors to support Chef Luna and give him feedback about what we want to see business and restaurant wise in our local area!

Adair Park Meet-N-Greet This Saturday, February 19th!

PartyIt’s that time again folks! The Adair Park Meet-N-Greet express rolls over to Tift Avenue for a progressive party. Sunday invite to Adair Park from Stewart Avenue Methodist

Pastor Steve Davidson of Stewart Avenue Methodist Church asked us to pass along this note.

This is a midweek “WARM WELCOME TO SAM” communication from Pastor Stewart Ave Methodist
Steve.  The Adair Park Today organization is very important to us of the Stewart Avenue United Methodist Church congregation.  The service begins at 11am with a covered dish lunch immediately after. First-time worshippers may enter the fellowship hall by the Lillian Street entrance and come up the stairs to the sanctuary or enter the sanctuary from the front Metropolitan Parkway entrance (door to the right).

I so much appreciate your enthusiastic leadership along with your other committed Adair Park Today officers. We welcome the opportunity to return the favor this Sunday by playing host as pastor along with the dedicated members of our congregation.
