Our Values & Committees

Our work is rooted in these four values that we strive to deliver for our neighborhood: connecting, caring for, gathering and shielding neighbors is vital to making resilient neighborhoods. These values are reflected in our various working groups. Learn more about your neighborhood committees and their chairs here.

Connect

Our neighborhood is connected through our parks, roads, and land – we seek to make sure neighbors can connect freely.

Care

We care for our neighborhood elders, youth, and animal friends who need our support to stay as integrated as possible.

Gather

Digital connection is a useful tool, but our in-real-life gatherings and porch parties strengthen bonds between us.

Shield

We keep our neighbors and neighborhood safe by promoting active, accessible spaces, and infrastructure.

We need support from our neighbors and local businesses to continue enhancing the quality of life for all residents of Adair Park. Please commit your time to lifting up our neighborhood.

Message from the Board of Adair Park Today

The Board of Adair Park Today is aware of an inflammatory post made by Matt Garbrett, APT’s Land Use Chair. Language used in this post was contrary to the values of both Adair Park Today and the broader Adair Park community. As an organization we condemn this behavior. Matt will be removed from his role as Land Use Chair.

We remain committed to the inclusion and representation of all residents of Adair Park and working with all representatives & residents of SW Atlanta towards a better community.
