Mayor Kasim Reed and the Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services are looking to help Atlanta’s elderly stay cool this summer. So far it has been pretty hot! The city of Atlanta is partnering with Scana Energy in this great effort.
To register and qualify for a fan, residents need to contact Andrea L. Boone in the Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services at 404-330-6023. Residents must be at least 55 years old and present a valid Georgia Driver’s License to validate age and residency. People are asked to be in the City Hall Atrium at 10:00am for the press conference.
